4 Days Murchsionfalls, Big 5, Chimpanzee and Rhino trekking

This safari will take you through the very best of what Murchsionfalls has to offer including the search for the big 5,Chimpanzee trekking at Budongo forest and end at Zziwa Sanctuary for Rhino trekking. The Murchison falls is also referred to as Kabarega falls whose waterfall is found on the course of the great Nile.

What makes this a must visit site and a bucket list for you is that the waters of the Nile force their way through a small slit within the rocks, which is just 7 meters or 23 feet wide, and topples to 43 meters or 141 feet below with a thunderous roar forming a residual water stray that forms a beautiful rainbow; the view is very breathtaking! From here it then continues its westward into the stunning Lake Albert.

The Nile explodes through a narrow gorge and cascades down to become a placid river whose banks are thronged with hippos and crocodiles, water bucks and buffaloes. The vegetation is characterized by savannah, riverine forest and woodland. Wildlife includes lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hartebeests, oribis, Uganda kobs, chimpanzees, and many bird species.

We will head to the Budongo forest section of the Murchsionfalls Park for Chimpanzee trekking and famous for the Mahogany and end the trip at the Zziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino trekking and other activities at the sanctuary including shoe bill cruise or nature walks.

It is one of the best Birding areas in Uganda and where you can track chimpanzees at an affordable price, takes guided nature walks through the forest and grasslands, and the adventure lasts for at least 2 to 4 hours.
