This safari will start from Kampala the capital and will also end in Kampala or Entebbe airport.
We will take a trip to Kibale National Park famous for the chimpanzee tracking in Uganda and best place in Africa to view many primate species like vervet, red-tailed, l’Hoest and blue monkey, black-and-white colobus, olive baboon, red colobus and grey-cheeked mangabey and of course the chimpanzees.
This 3 days safari will leave you gazing at the awesomeness of creatures.
Chimpanzee tracking, Other primates like black-and-white colobus; grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed, l’Hoest’s and blue monkeys, Bird watching look out for the great blue turaco, Bigodi Swamp Walk, cultural interactions.
In the morning we will drive to Kibale Forest (Africa’s primate capital) through Kabarole District, the tea capital of Uganda (because tea is extensively grown here).
We shall proceed to Kibale Forest after a long exciting drive of approx. 5hrs for a distance of 308km.
We arrive late afternoon for a well-deserved rest in the lodge of your choice.
Kibale forest boasts of a high number of primate species in the world, including Uganda’s delightful cousins the chimpanzees. In Uganda today, there are approximately 5000 chimpanzees left in the wild making it such a great place to spot them.
The experienced ranger will take u on your memorable chimp tracking experience in the morning or the afternoon. Other than the Chimps, you have a chance to view other monkey species that live in this tropical forest. A fabulous jungle trip is the result, finishing in an hour of eye to eye contact with the chimpanzees.
A two- to three-hour swamp walk will take you through grassland, small villages and some beautiful scenery, where the locals are likely to greet you with enthusiastic waves.
This is our last day and this morning we either relax at the lodge as we wait for time to drive back to Kampala or take a Crater Lake hike 2-3 hrs.
Your driver will drop you at your residence in Kampala.
