Uganda is a landlocked country located in East Africa, bordered by South Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and the
Democratic Republic of the Congo. It sits astride the Equator, providing a diverse range of landscapes and a pleasant
climate.

Uganda is known as the “Pearl of Africa” due to its breath-taking natural beauty. It offers a diverse terrain with vast

With its equatorial location, Uganda enjoys a tropical climate throughout the year. The average temperature hovers
between 23°C (73°F) and 28°C (82°F). There are two distinct rainy seasons: from March to May and October to
November. The dry seasons, from December to February and June to August, offer the best weather for outdoor
exploration.

Uganda is a cultural melting pot with over 50 tribes, each contributing to its rich heritage. The main languages
spoken are English and Swahili, while Luganda is widely used in the capital, Kampala. Traditional customs, vibrant
music, colourful dances, and intricate crafts showcase the country’s cultural diversity.

Uganda is home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, making it a top destination for wildlife
enthusiasts. The country also boasts an impressive array of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, and hippos.
Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa, provides opportunities for water sports and fishing. Adventure seekers can
